Giant sterling silver and turquoise ring. This is an ornate ring, with intricate design on the top and sides and weighs 23 grams! I’ve never had a ring this heavy! I purchased this from a woman who had tons of Native American jewelry, mostly Navajo and Zuni. But there is no makers mark, so I cannot confirm its origin. The one unusual part of this ring is the hole in the turquoise stone. The seller indicated that it is a natural part of the stone, that many stones have natural “channels” that go through the stones, even though it looks like it was drilled. Personally, I’ve never seen anything like it, and bought it! It’s really a fabulous piece for someone who really wants to make a statement! May also be a piece for collectors. Size 10 and stamped , “92.5.”
