This Sterling Silver Art Deco vanity set was our great-grandmother’s. She used it gently.

All pieces clearly marked Sterling. From the Saart Brothers S and B Silver Company. We think she got these in the 40s or 50s.

The striped engraved pattern with shell motif is very collectible. Note the three engraved shells on the brush as well as the mirror. Two smaller shell motifs on the comb.

Note a small blackening on edge of the original beveled mirror which is often found on these vintage items.

Original comb still perfect, no missing tines, which is hard to find. Could be tortoise shell.

Brush in good condition. Says Nylon USA.

Comb is 7 inches long. See 3 small indentations on back of comb.

Brush is 10 inches long, 3 inches wide.

Mirror is large, 13 inches long, 4 inches wide.

Whole set weighs 20 ounces. Lots of silver!

We tried to polish it for you, but it can use a bit more polishing to really impress!
