This original Game Gear Battery Pack has been refurbished with a brand new 5000mah RC Car battery.

Original capacity was only 1300mah and most you will find in the wild today are completely dead anyway.

Charging time is increased due to added capacity, but charging light does come on after being on the plug for about 30 mins to 1 hour to indicate charging is in process. Charging light will go off once charge is complete. Switch must be set to “ON” to charge and “OFF” to supply power to Game Gear. Still charges with Game Gear or Sega MK-2103 (Genesis model 2) AC adapter.

Playtime is anywhere from 9 hours to 20 hours depending if you have an original stock screen or IPS screen in your Game Gear (original screen draws more power and therefore playtime is reduced).

Battery has belt clip for convenience and cord is long enough to play comfortably with battery clipped on your belt.
